Dave Patterson is a co-founder and Technical Manager of Navarro Energy.

Dave has been a petroleum industry manager, consultant, and prospect generator. Therefore, he has polished the full spectrum of skills, including 2D and 3D geophysical interpretations, stratigraphic and structural geology, reservoir engineering, and economic evaluations.

He has explored numerous North American regions, including the Permian, Gulf Coast, and Rocky Mountains. His long tenure has provided extensive knowledge, enabling him to create innovative geologic concepts that have led directly to new discoveries.

Dave is a Colorado School of Mines graduate with a B.S. in Geological Engineering. He began his career as a development geologist with Tenneco Oil and later went to Tennessee Gas Transmission as a reserve supervisor and as an exploration manager for Carrizo E&P (Texas), Ultra Petroleum (Colorado), and Rose Petroleum (Utah).

Since 2016, he has been consulting and exploring, including waterfloods and conventional and unconventional drilling.
