STEPHEN LEVINE

Stephen Levine is the Co-Founder and Operations Manager of Navarro Energy. With 40 years of experience as a geologist, geophysicist, and geoscience manager, Stephen has worked with conventional and unconventional plays and assets in the Lower 48 and international.

Before helping establish Navarro Energy, Stephen served in various roles at SK E&P and ConocoPhillips, where he was involved in geological management, exploration, and geophysical work. He began his career at Tenneco E&P, where he collaborated with Dave Patterson, who would later become his co-founder at Navarro Energy. Stephen also worked as an exploration prospect generator in the deepwater regions of the Gulf of Mexico and West Africa, as well as in onshore USA, South America, and SE Asia. In addition, he was involved in field development projects in Venezuela, Russia, Kazakhstan, Oklahoma, and South Texas.

Stephen holds a B.S. and M.S. in Geology from Texas A&M University and obtained an MBA from the University of North Dakota in 2023. He is an active member of the AAPG, SEG, SPE, and the Houston Geological Society (HGS), having served as President of the HGS in 2004 and as Chairman of the Annual AAPG Convention in 2011.
